Just finished Crime and Punishment. Not nearly as good as The Brothers Karamazov but still worth the time if you like Dostoyevsky.

I just finished “The Heart of Darkness”. I never read it before;i it was amazing.
I started “White Noise” by Delillo.
I never read any Dostoyevsky. I will eventually get to “Crime and Punishment” at least.

His great novels are all psychological. And he is good at giving his best characters the worst vices for the best reasons.

I finally got around to reading Ken Burns and Geoffrey Ward "Baseball: An Illustrated History". I wish I had read it before they added the Tenth Inning.

Next is a bio of Churchill by Manchester.

While on vacation I read All Quiet On The Western Front.
This is a great novel, even in translation.
