Well the back is still jacked up and seems to get worse then better then worse again. Doc thinks there may be some nerve damage. Had an MRI scheduled for yesterday. I went in after work for it and found out that Lefty is claustrophobic as hell.
MRI rescheduled w/ drugs.

Those things are really tight!
The first time I went in one, I made it about about a foot and had to come out.
It helps me to put a cloth over my eyes but not so much that I can't see the end of the tube.
The 4 5 mg Valiums help too. Three before and one as a reward for making it out.
Uber if you don't have a ride.
Good luck with that stuff.

Going in the thing I figured it would take 5 minutes or so. Then the dude tells me 20ish minutes. I could of done 5 and maybe 10 but not 20. It wasnt too bad until I got in there and the walls were touching my arms. Thats some F'd up design man!! They cant figure out something that doesnt feel like a dam coffin??
I will be taking at least one valium.

The do have what they call an open MRI where there is no tube at all. You and your broke back lay flat on a hard table for 20 minutes but not in a tube. Word was that the image was not as good but that's probably years old.
Siemens makes one that is bigger than the rest. The shoulders is what gets guys with big frames every time.
Take two, they're small.

I had no issue spending 30 min in the MRI tube. I was super still and they said I made great pictures.

The nurse called me back yesterday late with a new time, and told me they would be sedating me with a local anesthetic.
Knock my %^$ out!! I am good with it.
