What made you decide to do this and do it by yourself? I love road trips. This route was on my list. I have the southern island of New Zealand on this list and a few other epic places like Tierra Del Fuego that I plan to do. I've already done Europe, the American West, Ireland, and Ukraine. Some have been with a companion and some solo. I am ok with either arrangement. When I'm ready to go, I go. If someone wants to go then welcome aboard. If not, no problem. I'll take lots of video and pictures. |

I love road trips as well, but mine tend to be less ambitious. I have a friend I travel with besides trips Kasty and I take. Tom and I have done a Dust Bowl Tour and a Grand Canyon trip (I had never seen the Grand Canyon). Right now we are planning a Mississippi River Trip next month going from Cairo, IL to the Delta. Of course I will work in a visit to Oxford, MS.
I would love to visit Singapore, Ireland, W Europe, parts of Indonesia, and Thailand, but my anxiety regarding flying has ramped up with age. My last long flight was to Hawaii and I was miserable. I force myself to fly to NY on Christmas because it is so important, but if it were in any way practical, we would drive.
I truly enjoy see my friends adventures. I have a friend that travels all over the world constantly and sends me pics and videos; I love it. I enjoy yours as well.
