If I were going in winter then I would have done, but in the summer the small car will be more fun.

Having set a precedent of allowing the voters to speak before approving a Supreme Court nominee, will Mitch McConnell now allow Trump to pick his own judge?

"That congressional hearing is a real turd show."
Truly appalling.
The only thing worse than the Democrats use of their time to point out what a waste of time the proceeding was, was the disgusting, picayune, personal mugging that the Republican perpetrated on a fellow devoted civil servant from whom they apparently expect perfection in all aspects of live both public and private. On the rare occasions that any Republican dare to delve into anything substantive and pertinent, Strozk was usually not allowed to answer.
I'm just glad it stretched on as long as it did so that people coming home from work could see just what a $%^show it was.
I saw John Kasich on Wolf and Wolf jumped him at the parting words by asking "Do you want to be President?"
He danced around for a little while and then said that he would certainly like to be President but that he'd also like to play on the PGA Tour.
I thought it was a good answer from someone who is running for President but not running for President.
If only Republicans had listened more to the ugly guy....

I would vote for Kasich over any Democrat being put out there right now.

No one had really heard of Bill Clinton in 1990 either.
Besides, who on earth would have already filed to run in 2020?

...and yes. So would I.
Tim Kaine can forget about it. I don't think Mark Warner wants to run for President. Schiff is too tainted by the politicism of the House Intel Committee debacle caused by Lead Trumpeteer and Message Runner Devin Nunes.
Kasich has been doing lots of interviews and has at times sounded ready to bolt from the Republican Party. Maybe he's the guy to lead the vast majority away from governance from the edges. If so, will it be from either of the monstrosities that we are forced to live with election after election?

I don't care if he stays a republican. I have been an Republican and a Democrat. Now I am simply for rationale and reason.
I believe in education, capitalism, strong defense, civil rights, and representative democracy.
I oppose anti-intellectualism, war, tyranny, oppression, isolationism and bigotry.

Democrat and Republican do not have constant definitions. They are fluid, just like liberal and conservative. The liberal wants change until it is acheiced and then they want to maintain the status quo and become conservative and the the conservatives become liberal.

That's why the ones in the middle who believe in education, capitalism, strong defense, civil rights and representative democracy and who oppose anti-intellectualism, tyranny, oppression and bigotry need to enforce a redefinition of the current system that pushes us to the fringes. Elected officials on both sides live in constant fear of their own party running against them in a primary if they don't toe the party line. It's up to us to let them know that they need to redefine how the Democratic and Republican parties conduct themselves or risk becoming fringe parties in favor of the majority in the middle. They can each have and keep their bases. The middle is so huge that we don't need either of them.

California Sen. Kamala D. Harris is who I want to run.
She would really piss of the Trump base.
