Prince had a horrible rep with tour crews. I never worked one of his shows, but he was an %^$ of legend.

I don't like John Hiatt either.
When I lived in Wilmington, DE he played the Oprahouse and the opening act was a last minute cancellation and they had me open. I was nervous as hell because it was just me by myself. It was by far the largest audience I had ever played for by myself. Hiatt was... not helpful. He even made a snide comment when he took the stage.
