7 of those 12 came in a 1 week stretch. since that week, his slashline is .205/.255/.386. there are already plenty of guys on the roster capable of that. he has 1 big week a year, then everyone remembers that he is just matt adams. wash, rinse, repeat.

Sad to say but I'm starting to lose interest in baseball.
It's all about the homer and the K. Everything else-defense, baserunning, getting on base, pitching to contact...are things relegated to the second tier of things that happen when there isn't a homer or a K. The Homerun Derby is the highlight of the AS extravaganza.

Look at the bright side...at least baseball isn't the NBA....a big push and shove contest, with players traveling, holding and shoving...sure lost the art of the game.
