I watched some NBA this weekend because it was less painful than listening to my Mother-in-law tell how illegal aliens caused the romaine lettuce contamination with their poor hygiene.
I think I'm mistaken about them not playing defense. I think that maybe the offense is so good that it just looks like they don't. I still don't like it, It's becoming all about the three pointer and the dunk just like baseball is becoming all about the homer and the k.

The 3 is a bigger part of the game than ever before and I don't care for that. It is gett to where running someone off the 3 point line to take an open 2 is good defense.
The thing is shooters are better than ever before and Golden State has 3 of the best...&%$ers.
The 24 second shot clock is what makes it seem like there is no defense because you are seeing so much offense. After a make a team has less than 20 seconds to run their offense. That's a lot of offense in 48 minutes even if you use the whole shot clock.

I watched the Caps vs. Pens game yesterday.
OV and Miller tagteamed a Penguin and put him straight out of the game without a penalty.
The NBA should either try allowing body checking or playing on ice.
