Going to see the Thunder tonight for the first time this season. The playoffs (second half of the season) are almost here. The Thunder has the talent to win it all, but keeping that talent on the same page for a whole game has been the challenge.
Tonight it's TheThunder v Golden State which has turned into a nice rivalry the last two years.
Thunder Up!

You know, X. It's where defense goes to die.

The worst NBA team would dismantle Villanova.
A 24 second clock makes it seem (to the non-fan or casual fan) like a lack of defense.
The most elite athletes in the world are in the NBA.

I get that some sports are not for everyone.
Is the NFL still allowing contact?

You know, X. It's where defense goes to die. Last time I was interested in the NBA was when Charley Oakley was clotheslining anyone trying to get a cheap one in the lane.

Okie mansplains it to the casual fan but he's off the mark for the lack of defense in the NBA. The shot clock contributes but the 82 game schedule makes it impossible to play hard defense and last the season with legs left for the almost two month long playoffs.

NBA is pretty bad and has been for 20 years. Guys like Curry wouldnt survive one game in the 80's.

Okie mansplains it to the casual fan but he's off the mark for the lack of defense in the NBA. The shot clock contributes but the 82 game schedule makes it impossible to play hard defense and last the season with legs left for the almost two month long playoffs. So they choose to play offense? Why not choose to play defense? A grueling schedule has nothing to do with offense or defense. That's a comical explanation. The defense in the NBA is ferocious, but the game is fast. It is a whole different world in the NBA. If a team does not defend, they do not win. Period.

I'm glad that you find the idea of working on just one end of the floor so amusing that it's enough to make you watch the NBA.

Yeah, that schedule saps them of their defense.

I can see how you can believe Trump is smart. You are using yourself as the standard.
