nothing jokey about it. the presumed ex-heroin user who still drank like a fish who built a brand on being an insufferable $)@. just look at the title of what turned out to be his last feature interview. it also happens to be the final quote in his now final interview. also note what publication it appeared. people.com/food/anthony-bourdain-life-on-the-road-parts-unknown/so back to my earlier post. if bourdain surprised you, then i'd guess you were also caught offguard when the guy whose last few songwriting credits included the titles "all apologies" and the charming little ditty, " i hate myself and want to die" ate a 12 gauge. |
