You can tell that the shift is &%$ing with Matt. He is really trying to hit opposite field. He is actually quite good at popping up to left field.

I am late to to the baseball strategy on the shift. I hear various thoughts on how to counteract it.
Speed on the base paths with hit and run threats seems like the way to approach it.
