I have tried to talk about this with people I know that were Trump supporters. In the small sample so far 100% of them have said words to the effect of I don't know who is telling the truth and I'm trying not to watch it and I don't want to know any more about it.
This is classic cognitive dissonance.
Everyone seeing a documentary or reading an article about cult leaders always think there is no way they would fall for the cult leader or do his demands. Yet they go to a fundamentalist church and support Trump and swear he loves America and loves them and on and on. He is the world's most successful cult leader.

I said this about the guy in Portland that was shot and killed at the protest up there, if you go to places where you might get shot, don't be too surprised if you get shot.
I don't go to these crazy events because I prefer to live a peaceful life in good health. Everyone should emulate me.

It is a shady area, apparently, or else Trump wanting to pardon himself would not be an issue. My understanding of Supreme Court precedent is that acceptance of a pardon is an admission of guilt because a pardon is an act of grace.

They have also arrested the guy that took the lectern. They were able to find him because he tried to sell the thing on ebay. I laughed very hard until my side hurt. He's no Frank Abagnale. His "Catch me if you can" started with him turning to run and stepping on a rake.
