So when does Giuliani go to jail with the mobsters he put away in the 80's?
That would be awesome.

"I only attributed what he said to him." Out of the context of that discussion. "They are resorting to violence because peaceful protest has failed to deliver true emancipation for 157 years now." Then they are grossly mistaken about how to further their cause. "they don't see any opportunity for their children to improve their lives and escape generational poverty." Then they are grossly mistaken about what opportunity is truly there for them. So how DO you further the cause? What opportunities are there for poor kids in poor neighborhoods with poor schools and poor teachers and worst of all-parents who don't really care? Don't you think that in 157 years they have tried just about everything? Can't you understand the frustration, resentment and anger that hundreds of years of failed attempts to gain true equality must breed? 157 years of keeping them people down because of the color of their skin and we're still at it. How can that NOT foment anarchy?

I just heard a lady who was a GOP Congressional investigator say that Trump having the Legislators from Michigan to the Whitehouse for the "advocacy session" was not only Unconstitutional but criminal under some US Code. She said that elections are delegated to the States under Article I and that the Executive as established under Article II is not allowed to interfere in any Article I function in any way. Under the Code she cited, Trump can be prosecuted, arrested, tried, convicted and sentenced. They're gonna need a Trump Wing at Leavenworth.

"So how DO you further the cause?"
Let's first agree that if it is cold and rainy outside the best way to keep warm is not to bust out the windows.
Let's agree that if you want my help the best way to get it is not to slap my face.
Rioting and destroying things is not going to win over your critics but it will turn some of your friends against you.

The ACLU is not blameless, but I am still a proud member.

Let's agree that if you want my help the best way to get it is not to slap my face. Rioting and destroying things is not going to win over your critics but it will turn some of your friends against you. It goes with the territory... always has. Every civil rights advancement has been a fight and virtually every fight has gotten out of hand at times. Regarding BLM, here’s the deal: a black man is 2.5X more likely to be killed by police than a white man. This is the point, not riots. Focusing on the riots is the racist response.

If you grew up in absolute fear that someone might spit in your food at a restaurant, then call a black person racist.
If you get asked for ID because of where you are and the color then call a black man racist.
If you get followed around a department store by a store associate because of the color of your skin... call black people racist.
If you have to teach your children how to act when confronted by police to keep from getting killed... call black people racist.
If you were bullied, beat up, and called terrible names starting in elementary school all the way to high school just for being black then yes... call blacks racist.
If you are constantly stared down by law enforcement just because of the color of your skin, then yes... call blacks racist
If your family heritage leads back to being brought to America against your will and sold like cattle, the yes ...call black people racist.
If you have dealt with social exclusion based solely on the color of your skin, then yes... call black people racist.
When as few as 60 years ago you couldn’t eat, piss, sleep or get a drink of water in the same place as a white person, then yes... call black people racist.
If your parents and grandparents had to put their lives on the line just to vote in this country, then yes.... call blacks racist.
If you are stereotyped as lazy, unintelligent, and incapable just because of the color of your skin, then yes... call blacks racist.
If you do not relate to these things, that is your privilege.
Black Lives Matter!

As to your second post, yeah, racism exists and it sucks. Rioting will not win anyone over and will erode the support of those who care. MLK and Ganhdi won with nonviolence and understood that rioting worked against their cause.
If you choose violence then you need to understand how that method works and what it is called and how you win with it. For starters, you burn down the enemy's houses, not your own. You kill your enemies, not your own neighbors.

Which point in my post is untrue? The part where you lack perspective and focus on the riots mostly antagonized if not completely staged by your proud boys you defend and other white nationalist groups. You instantly blame BLM and left wing progressives; facts show otherwise. A black man is 3.5X more likely to be killed by police than a white man and our country is run by a fascist. This is the point, but all the conservatives can see is protests and violence which is a small percentage of what is going on. There are protests every day in major cities across this country. They are primarily young white and black people marching for BLM and “Refuse Fascism” (a group I have marched with and are a very effective organization coast to coast). And don’t even start about the Antifa bull$%^. If a person is opposed to Antifa, they are in dangerous territory. Antifa means many things to many people, but what it does not mean is that they promote an ideology. They are simply anti-fascist. Some are communist, socialists, democratic socialists, anarchists, nihilists, capitalists, etc... none of that matters it is not what ideology they personally favor it is their stance against fascism that is the common cause. And there are a hell of a lot more of them than you might thing. I have a Facebook group called Antifa Today. We are pushing 2000 members without a recruiting campaign. Relieve it or not there is no one arguing politics at Antifa Today. Just the exchange of ideas, posting of events and posts of history and political science facts so we can all speak intelligently. We use a synergetic approach toward learning.

If they "won", then the struggle must be over. In your mind.
