So first Tiger Woods gets the Medal of Freedom for driving his life to the edge of the cliff and sucessfully not falling off.
Now Rush Limbaugh gets is for being a good Trumpeteer and being lucky enough to get lung cancer.
They should start calling it the McMedal.

Turning the SOTU into a campaign stump speech is par for the course so I don't knock him for that. But I couldn't make it past the first 10 minutes, which is also about as long as I've ever made it for any SOTU speech. So I missed the Rush bit. I'm sorry for him because cancer sucks. But I also don't think he should be admired just because he got sick. The great iconoclast, Christopher Hitchens, would not be nice to people he didn't like even when they just died (see Jerry Fawell, Mother Teresa).
Rush was/is an "ends justify the means" type person. He said indirectly that he does not look at the machinations of individuals as moral acts or immoral acts, but rather whether what they want for an end result is right according to his view, which is not an objective view. If there was an objective view then the means to get there would be judged by an objective standard. It is a collateral damage approach that Rush espouses. We might destroy a lot of innocents along the way so long as we get what we want in the end. Rather than celebrate a democratic republic and operate within its political structures, we exploit it for our personal satisfaction.

I don't think it is fair to Trump (not that he has earned much fair play) to imply he had anything to do with that phone number getting out and zealous pranksters taking the piss out of the DEM's for their fubar.

Pelosi has made herself look the fool this whole time. You are dealing with a crazy %^$ person who has become a cult like figure during this whole thing. You cant act like an asshat while complaining about an asshat.
In other news I like this Klobuchar gal. I really dont want to have to vote for Sanders old %^$.

Klobuchar I thought looked like, well, a woman last night. Got all bent out of shape and seemed bitchy.
Buttigieg was my favorite from last night.
Sanders looked like a grumpy old man, Biden is toast, Bloomberg is outmatched.
