Edibles can get you in the boo-boo really fast. Your liver changes its effects. I learned the hard way.

Edible is better for you. Shrooms should be mandatory. I say everyone should go Terence Mckenna and take a heroic dose once a year.

Edibles are certainly not the pot brownies of the old days. After being gravely ill for about 6 months and not having smoked at all, I was feeling better and pulled out a muffin my daughter-in-law had made for me. Being the experienced pot head that I am, I knew to only eat half and wait for about a half hour. So after 45 minutes, I wasn't feeling much so I ate the other half. Big mistake. I was literally seeing double. I don't think I have ever gotten that high a 45 year long effort to do so.
VA sort of legalized cannabis oil for medical use. We passed and the Gov signed a bill that provides for an Affirmative Defense Certificate that can be signed by your doctor. It doesn't make it legal, it just means that the local Commonwealths Atty. is going to have to prosecute someone for using their medicine as their doctor ordered. That's not going to look good.

I got a long reply from my Congressman about the family separations on the border. He (Dave Brat) has introduced HR6195 which would require that parents and children seeking asylum be housed together for the duration of their hearings (excluding other criminal proceedings) and that their hearings occur within 14 days. It also provides for the hiring of twice as many judges as we currently have and the construction of proper shelter.
It have 7 or 8 Republican Co-Sponsors and is sponsored in the Senate by Ted Cruz. Right now it has been referred to the house judiciary committee.
That was nice to hear but I don't know if it has a chance of becoming law.
Then he slipped into blaming everything on failed Obama policies. And praised Trump for, once again, doing a great job cleaning up part of the mess he made.
I imagine it was written by a staffer but at least it was a response that shows some attempt to correct the situation. I hope it's a good piece of legislation and passes but I don't have much confidence in Congress' ability to cooperate on anything, no matter what the cause. And I have even less confidence in Trumps ability to rein in his ego and do whats right, even if it makes him look weak to his base. What are they gonna do? Vote for a Dem?

They are probably 30 years old but I don't recall seeing a "Use By" date on them. Maybe one day my mind can be clear enough of worries that they won't be magnified by taking them, but it's not now.

Like an enema for the mind. I wonder what ayahuasca is like. Have friends who made the journey with a shaman leading the ceremony. Their stories were &%$ED UP.
Oh, and they place you on ground with a bucket in front of you because you're probably gonna hurl. (in a group setting, mind you)

"Families" are not being separated at the border due to a Trump policy. Minors who are part of groups illegally crossing the border are being held in facilities dedicated to nothing else but minor aged children in accordance with a 21 year old consent order to settle a 30 year old lawsuit. And children younger than 5 are not separated from adults who can reasonably be determined as the kid's parent. but let's not get facts stuck in the middle of a great narrative.
