Nope. The applicable part is that atheism is a cause, principle, or system of beliefs held to with ardor and faith.
In this sense atheism is a religion. Plain and simple and Sam and his following are making it an evangelical religion. The way they are going they will be occupying brick and mortars and passing the collection plate.

Atheism has a single criterion, disbelief, or a lack of belief, in gods. That is not a system of beliefs. You cannot refute this. This is a knockdown argument.
A person that hates cancer and spends their life raising money for cancer research would fit with your definition of religion. But no one would confuse that meaning with the meaning of religion as pertains to belief in a Supreme Being, which is what you are attempting, unsuccessfully.
A person who gets up every morning at six behaves religiously, but not in the same sense of the word as someone who goes to church every Sunday and teaches Sunday School kids about a God who sees your secret sins.

Read your own link. Those are not tenets of Atheism. And stop calling them tenants.
If you are depending on Google to show you someone that came up with some possible tenets of Atheism then you are straying from your dictionary definition precision.
Until you succeed in rebuttal of my knockdown argument, I will rest my case. I've said enough, I think.

So the Four Tenants of Atheism are not tenants? No. I am an atheist and I don't believe in any of those things in his list. Also, please learn the difference between tenant and tenet.

Now you are just Googling and posting without reading. You linked to a poll where some self-identified atheist said they believed in God and headed the link with the hilarious "core beliefs". You are in full flounder mode. Knockdown argument get you flustered?

When you have all these different sects of atheism it makes the semantics surrounding the term "belief" moot. You have "new" atheists, "friendly" atheists, "strong" and "weak" atheists; these can only be seen as systems of belief.

If at anytime you wonder what type of atheism you are or need to learn more about atheist beliefs, get the Oxford Handbook of Atheism.

I'm an atheist with a lower case a. I don't know or care what sect of Atheism that I might fall into. Mine is a non-belief without a system.

I'm an atheist with a lower case a. I don't know or care what sect of Atheism that I might fall into. Mine is a non-belief without a system. I recognize that you don't care, but you would be classified as a friendly atheist. However, I think I could make you an irritated friendly atheist. Shall we dance?

No dance required when it comes to your ability to irritate.
