Glad I missed it but I know what you are talking about.
I saw one play earlier this year where he just didn't reach out for the ball on what should have been an inning ending dp with us still in the lead but ended in a loss. He took about an 18 inch step toward the throw and the guy beat it out by 3 inches.

He freaking came off the bag at one point and the runner was safe. Just came off the bag. Then he is dropping balls thrown to him or hit at him.
I am done with that dude.

To me, he just looks like he has lazy, slow feet. And he may just be lazy when it comes to defense.

he is terrible in the outfield as well and probably one of the worst outfielders in the league, but i dont remember his defense there costing ua nearly as frequently when he played corner outfield last year.
The ball at the least doesnt find him as often there. I feel he would cost us much less there and its not like we should be concerned about takingn playing time away from fowler
