Good thing for those steroids or they may have been bigger and taken more of a blow.

Seriously. Why wouldn't you have the best protection for your closest friends?
Did the regular cup collapse or was it just like a full-blown cup-check? I've been hit directly in the cup and it ain't fun but there was no injury. It wasn't at 102 mph either.

When I watched the slow motion, it looked like flesh moved versus a cup, but it was difficult to tell.
Maybe the impact moved the cup down into crushing position.

That's the way I looked at it too, in super slow-mo. That can really change how things look. I can't imagine letting 5 oz objects moving at 100 mph anywhere near my unprotected boys.
But it looked like Yadi did. Of course he's much, much better at protecting them but apparently not good enough to go gonzo. (If it is as it appears.)

I feel his pain but no sympathy. I wore a cup every game after getting hit in the balls at the age of 6. I have balls because I wore a cup.
