Average Anthrax fans have no idea who Chuck D is.
However, I guarantee a majority know: 1. The Spear of Longinus 2. Prussian Blue 3. Broadsword 4. Skinfull 5. Hate Forest 6. Endless Pride 7. No Remorse 8. Legion of St. George
And many more that I am sure are not even on my radar.
I know that Anthrax is not a racist hate rock band, but racist bands hide behind metal's already “shadowy” and dark reputation to mask their fringe messages. As lame as it may sound bands like Anthrax, Metallica, Judas Priest, Megadeath, Slayer, Slipknot, etc... need to make the separation clear because they are being used.

I cheated and found an answer on the intarwebs. I was guessing a harp of some kind or a weird dulcimer.
I was wrong according to what I found.

I was never able to find it. I was thinking a hammered dulcimer but it sounds like it's being strummed.

www.taisawards.com/inpage/lowell-george/This page shows a sitar was used on the album. If that's the case, it's tuned to western music standards. And yes, definitely strummed. I was thinking an Appalachian style dulcimer.

I was thinking more like this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=TGhggaORhSo(Hammered dulcimer starts about 4:30) Now that I hunted these guys down, it doesn't sound quite right. I saw them open for John Price at Mem Gym at UVA in 1976 and then again at a huge festival called Stompin' 76.
