Smart baseball there. Something Matheny would know nothing about. More like incredibly stupid base running. You can’t go back to 3B on a bases loaded grounder. With the bases loaded the idiot at third caused the whole thing. After he was tagged Profar only needed to step on 3B and throw to 2B for the force out. There was no need to tag the guy between 1B and 2B. The Rangers made it harder than it needed to be. Kinda stupid all around. |
