That is the most egregious of the whole shebang.
And we ended up getting Juan Yépez and cash for Adams. Thanks Mo/Mike.

That is the most egregious of the whole shebang. And we ended up getting Juan Yépez and cash for Adams. Thanks Mo/Mike. The plan was hoping to get Adams at bats, get him off to a hot start so they could trade him for something worthwhile. It didn't work out. Pham was never going to be traded.

What a nice game... 3-3 threw the first 6 games, 2-1 vs Brewers. Only real loss was to two of the top pitchers in the MLB This team is going to be great.

I was just assuming x is MrXRay? Wrong am I? Yes. X is a duck, I am Cletus, Bert is X, Lefty is really a righty and you are still a dufus. Welcome home

I expect this will be Pham's last year with the mighty Cardinals. They simply do not seem inclined to put real money into him. Maybe it's his eyesight or his attitude, I get the strong feeling he will find more love elsewhere.

Unless they are trading him I don't think Pham has any choices for a while. He's not close to free agency.
He's 30 years old and we control him through 33. It would seem quite crazy for the Cardinals to do anything more.

He has trade value. If he doesn't want to be here he should be gone.

He has trade value. If he doesn't want to be here he should be gone. Trade him to a contender.

I hope Mo is out finding our next Japanese import. Too bad he wasnt able to lock him up for more years like he wanted to.

Mo signings out to good starts early. Except the vociferously pushed Holland.
Miles Mikolas 2-0 4.26 ERA 14/2 K to BB ratio, 1.11 WHIP averaging 6 plus innings per start; negatives is 4 HRs in 19 innings and apparently that he pitched against the Reds Bud Norris 4/4 in save chances, 1.93 ERA 17 to 1 K to BB ratio, 17 k's in 9.1 Innings 1.07 WHIP
Good starts for those two, especially the cast away Norris who is going to be difficult to remove from the closer role, even with the $14 million dollar man.
The bullpen looks really good.
