Edman would be the greatest leadoff man in the history of baseball.
Bader has to get on base.
I like our speed with Edman, Bader and Wong. We need to use it more; combined they stole 50 bases and got caught 10 that is 84% (feel free to check me here). With 75% considered a positive contribution, stats say run more. Hell, Ozuna was 12-2 in SB.
I would not mind having Ozuna back. He is not going to break the bank.
Waino will be back. Flaherty will be back. Hudson will be back. Ponce or Gant will be an improvement over Wacha in the rotation. Hicks will be back. A. Reyes will get in a couple of weeks. Mikolas will be back. Wacha won’t. That improves our already good pitching.
We are really not in too bad of shape as we sit.

Hicks might be back but he won't be throwing 104 until late in the season if he's got good sense.
Reyes is something good that might happen one day and when it does, we had better enjoy it while we can.
Trade Wong and whatever else it takes for a power hitting 3B. His trade value is never going to be higher because of his "Gold-Glove Caliber" defense and the fact that he hit well this year. Move Edman to 2B, let him hit leadoff and serve as closer until Hicks is back in true form.
He can do it can't he Okie?

You should manage the Marlins.

Yes, Edman can do anything. GG at any position. OBP around .400. Score 120 runs at leadoff, hit 25 HRs. Steal 80 bases. AS, GG, and SS starting next year and every year for the next 14 years, 8 MVPs. He will miss no more that 60 days total for his 21 years career. With 4000+hits, 315 triples (mlb record), 680 2B, 265 HRs, 1120 SB, and Lefty will be talking about HGH and trading him for his whole career.

Hicks will be out all year more than likely, and we shouldnt expect anything out of Reyes and hope he surprises us.
Sign Rendon to play 3B and pray he doesnt bone us. Ehdman can be super utility and get 500 AB's. Trade Carp for pretty much anything you can get for him. Release Fowler as soon as possible. We could sign Gerardo Parra as a backup and get the same production. Let the young guys play the OF and bring in a vet bat with some pop. I woldnt mind Nicholas Castellanos in RF and resigning Ozuna though. Trade O'neill and the hole in his bat.
Sign Bumgarner and and an arm who could possibly close.

Not so keen on MadBum. Rendon will probably go to the Angels.

Getting rid of Yost for Matheny is like getting rid of Chris Carpenter for Kip Wells.

Yost is the Chris Carpenter of managers?
More like the Bob Brenley of managers.
