How screwed are we with the Fowler and Carpenter contracts?
Is Waino back on a 1 year deal?
Is Ehdman another Bo Hart?
Do they try and sign Ozuna?
Is Master Bader just a wet dream?
Does Mo finally show some nuts and sign a big time FA not on the decline?

It's already spent on some very expensive dead weight.

Fowler has 2 more years on that contract with a full no trade and Carp has three more F'ing years with a no trade clause for 2020.
We are screwed.

Edman is the greatest player in the history of the game and Flaherty is the second coming of Bob Gibson. We finally have a defensive team. Fowler will not be a liability Carpenter is toast. Bader better grow up and learn how to make contact and lose a bit of flair. Bader is all flaired up. I do not want Ozuna back. He is hurt worse than we know. We need a FA bat until some of these kids grow up.

We probably would have won 7-8 more games with Carpenter on the bench this season.
Carpenter on the bench, a replacement for Ozuna, and a kick in Bader’s %^$ every time he strikes out. This is all we need. Pitching is set.

Why won't Fowler be a liability next year?

Or should I say CONTINUE to be a liability?

Serviceable is what mid tier teams are made up of.

Fowler was serviceable as a utility player. If Carp cant hit he is worthless to us or anyone else. If Bader could hit .250 and get on base a little his D makes up for the rest.
We need a bat but I dont know where they would put one. They wont go out and spend on an outfielder with all the in house options we have, and we are stuck with Fowler unless they just cut bait with him. Edhman I assume will be a super utility guy or 2B if they trade Wong. I think they will try and trade Carp but nobody is gonna bite.
Pitching we have Mikolas, Fhlarety,Hudson for sure. After that who knows what happens and we dont have a closer.

Serviceable is not what we need hitting leadoff. Servicable is what you keep around for $5-7 Mil per year in in case someone gets hurt.
He struck out more than he got hits.
I always hesitate to say it, but I think he may be lazy. He looks lazy, anyway.
"...we dont have a closer."
Did you tell Mo this? I don't think he got the message in the months since we lost our real closer.

If we dont have a spot for a bat you have to go out and get a couple arms.
Gerrit Cole, Chris Archer, Madison Bumgarner, Kyle Gibson, are all available and the FA market fr SP looks pretty good this year.
When we getting a leadoff guy? Geez
