It has been 4 months since dad died and Mom has just changed her bedroom decor. Made it more girly, her words. I take this as a very good sign.

I was really young and sat next to him on a flight from Orlando to Chicago. When he woke up we had a great conversation and he didn't mind me being a total fanboy.
I still have a 8x12 glossy.

My sister turned me on to Prine immediately after his first album came out. His music was what formed my music as a teen and saved me from John Denver. I met him a couple of times but don't really remember much more than hello big fan. He wasn't a real exciting person and I was just a kid.
The Diamond is shining, no longer in the rough.

My Mom was hit by a meth head today. She was in a GMC Terrain and he was in a large SUV I've not seen. She was rolled twice and landed on the roof. Hung upside down for 15 minutes while the rescue team cut her from the vehicle. CT scan was clean and no broken bones. Tomorrow will probably suck. I speak from experience in rolling vehicles.
