The President of the United States of America is using words out of context and outright lies to goad his followers to take violent action against a duly elected Member of Congress. Anyone who cares to listen to the context of her comments can divine their meaning for themselves. He also apparently told border patrol agents not to let anyone cross the border no matter what the courts say. |

I hope that the media can finally recognize that the narrative about transferring immigrants to sanctuary cities is nothing more than another red herring. You'd think that they would finally catch on but I guess they have a responsibility to cover whatever Trump says, no matter how idiotic.
At least it didn't throw Adam Schiff off the trail. He issued subpoenas to Trumps banks and accounting firm today. Deutschebank is going to do him in.

TWarning: Personal finance rant.
I do business through PayPal. I have a customer in MS who happens to be the US District Judge of the US District Court for the N. District of Mississippi. He sent me two payments, one for $500 and one for $1100. The $500 payment went through with no issue just like the other upteen thousand dollars worth of PayPal transaction in the past. But the $1100.00 payment is flagged as “pending”.
The website tells me this can take up to 60 days to process. SIXTY days... WTF. They give you about 6 possible reasons why this may happen, none apply. So I call PayPal.
Christine answers and tells me it is because security has flagged it. I ask why... “I just told you sir” -No you didn’t -Yes I did. I ask her to tell me again and she says it is because security has flagged it. I ask “why has security flagged it... “I don’t know” I asked to speak with a Supervisor.
Tim: “your money is pending because security flagged it” I ask why and Tim says he doesn’t know. -Let me speak with someone who does know. Tim: There is no one. ... ... ... what? There IS not one? What does that even mean? There has to be a reason why this transaction was flagged and the exact same type transaction from the same person on the same day was not. Tim: I cannot tell you why. Me: because you don’t know or you are not allowed? Tim: You are not allowed to have that information. Me: So you can just at any time take someone’s money and hold it, not give them a reason and you think that is OK? Tim: again, I am not allowed to give you that information. Me: Let me talk to someone who can. Tim: I can’t. “Click”
Seriously, WTF?

Thanks for the TWarning. My advice: Call them on Tuesday, ask for a supervisor, if they can't tell you what the problem is, ask for the supervisor's boss or a member of the security team.
If the TOS does not specify the reason for the delay then you could threaten to sue them for the money and your legal fees, but this will only extend the time until you get your money. However, it may be cathartic in the meantime.

When I was talking to the first girl it was a call center type background I could hear lots of other people in the background and everyone sounded pissed off. What a job that must be.
If by Tuesday I don’t have my money I will call my customer The Honorable Michael P. Mills. He and I have developed a friendship over the years regarding Faulkner. This money is from a First Edition of The Sound and The Fury. He even lives in Oxford, MS. I don’t know what a Federal Judge can do, but probably more than me. We talk on the phone and Kasty and I are going to stay at his house a couple of days this summer. I have probably sold him 20 nice books.
So I do not have my first Edition book or $1100.00.
