His fake emergency is costing us .13 percentage points per week of GDP growth. Over twice the estimate. They forgot about contractors who lose out on work. My business would be one of those except our contract is with a funded agency. For now.

Our Gov. got blasted for calling the first blacks to be brought to VA "indentured servants" instead of slaves in his interview with le Somebody this morning. She immediately "corrected" him by calling them slaves.
Only thing is, they WERE indentured servants, not slaves. Northam had previously referred to them as "enslaved" and been corrected by a historian. So this time he wanted to get it right and used the proper term. That way he won't be subject to criticism, right?
This is a step too far. He said one thing and got corrected. He said the other and got lambasted.
If Northam needs to leave office, it's because he's apparently not very good in a crisis, not because he's a racist.

He has not handled it well but he was asked to handle something that should not be a thing in the first instance.
So stupid. So a guy was an insensitive college student? Anyone who thinks that matters now is an idiot.
If I was held to account for every point of view I have ever had then it would be an impossible world to live in. I have changed my views as I have become more intelligent. Anyone who has never changed their ideas is still attached to bad ideas.
When I learn more facts I update my views. What do you do?

He's definitely not an idiot but he does play one on TV.
Thinking on his feet is evidently not his forte, but he was able to get Medicaid Expansion through the Legislature which means he had to get Virginia Democrats and Republicans to agree on something.
