Referring to the team as a whole. We have won every game since and the level of play has been better hasn't it? (Haven't seen anything but quickpitch type stuff.)
After sitting one out, Dexter went 2-4 and 1-4. Carp hit well from leadoff. The BP performed well. Only one error. A couple of good starts.
I'm not saying that it's going to turn our season around but it's a vast improvement from what we were seeing in the last couple of weeks.

Pham is 0-19 with 9 k's in the last 7 games. Not even a walk.

I dont think we are in much of a position to make a run right now. We are in a position to make a move and then see what happens, but Mo wont do that. So this year will look much like the last few. Chasing the WC and hoping the other teams fold.

Maybe so, but I think that with Pham hitting up to his early season form, we could be contenders. I suspect that will be all the logic it takes for Mo to take a pass. Or maybe it could be the next rising of our savior, Alex Reyes who is on the 10-day (?) dl after surgery to reattach a tendon in his lat. Maybe Mo thinks he will be back in 10 days.

Our defense is terrible and Mike still wants to play Fowler. Its a replay of the Moss fiasco.
